Zach was raised in a small college town in Minnesota.  He received his undergraduate degree at Denison University in Ohio and his law degree at Roger Williams University School of Law in Rhode Island.  Following graduation, he married his high school sweetheart, Amy, and moved to Charleston in pursuit of warmer weather and Southern charm.

Zach began working at the Firm in 2006 and became the owner in 2025.  He has experience representing companies and individuals in all aspects of the construction industry, property law, business issues and litigation.  Zach is a certified civil court mediator helping individuals and companies amicably resolve disputes, both as mediator and as an advocate.

Outside of work, Zach enjoys fishing and exploring the Lowcountry, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
