Cooper Strachan grew up in the Cleveland suburb of Lakewood, Ohio.  After graduating with a degree in financial management from the University of Akron, Cooper pursued a career in the marine industry.  At that time, he took on roles as a boat captain, general technician, and carpenter along the Lake Erie shores and Islands.

 

Some years later, Cooper decided to follow in his mother’s and grandfather’s footsteps by pursuing a Juris Doctorate at his Alma Mater.  There he graduated in 2024 with a law degree focusing on business and intellectual property law.

Cooper joined Closser Law in 2025, wanting to merge his education in law with his background in the Firm's unique practice.

Outside the office, Cooper enjoys spending his time fishing, traveling, and hiking.
